Would you read this book to your kids?

3. 43% - Sure. I think it's cute :-)
I came across this book when I was teaching my 4yo dd about sex and where babies come from. I'm a pretty open minded person but I must admit, I blushed at some of the pics, LOL. Never the less I think it's a great book and I've read it to all of my kids.

Other than the "here are some ways mommies and daddies fit together" page, I don't think it's "too out there." That one just crosses the line.

It's not bad, imo. But my kids would laugh their heads off at the terminology.

I find it kind of cute. The pages where the picture of how mommy and daddy fit together are a bit risque. I would have to first determine if I thought my kids would try to mimick how mom and dad fit together with other kids before I would share that book with them.

I know. That was the part I was a little iffy on then I figured the kids would need to know some basic information on how mommies and daddies fit together. At least this way I won't have to worry about them immitating it,lol.

Why do you think showing them eliminates the risk of them imitating?

The only one that seems remotely possible is the skate board one. And even then I can imagine it would be too uncomfortable and awkward in practice. I hope...lol

My 3 year old has a vivid imagination. When she can't articulate her vision with props she insists I close my eyes and pretend with her.
