on 2/24/12 at 4:58pmI enjoy Fetzer's Gewurztraminer. I've tried other brands of gewurtz but like Fetzer's best.
In the summer I like to mix a blackberry merlot with Squirt (or sour) to make my own spritzer.
I enjoy and will try most wines, but I am not very fond of the dry ones.

on 2/24/12 at 5:11pmI used to love wine, but can't drink it because it contains sulfates (or sufites depending upon where you live). Grapes naturally contain them so I can't have anything grape...difficult for someone who loves grape jelly! I have to read labels on my cranberry juice and pomegranet juice because even Ocean Spray contains grape juice in ll of their Cranberry juice blends. When it comes to other frut in wines I can't drink them because the yeast added to them for fermentation creates sulfates. I have always loved the brand Bully Hill for wines though. Knew the vintner before he passed and very often would get one of his latest shipped to me. My favorite was the Grower's Red

on 2/24/12 at 5:28pmI'm not a huge wine drinker, I much prefer a Martini or Margarita, but when I do drink wine it is either Chianti or Pinot otherwise I end up with a headache.
I have a friend who owns several restaurants and is big into wine, I always take her advice when drinking wine because she knows my issues. LOL

No I can't, it has sulfites.

on 2/24/12 at 6:18pmLately I have enjoyed Pinot Noir. I like red and if I do not want the full body taste I will mix it with like a cranberry or pomegranate juice with ice. YUM

Shannon left some of her flavored vodka here, I kind of like it. Don't drink a lot of it though...not a big boozer
