I have a 13 year old daughter in the 8th grade, she is top of her class and an honor roll student. What she isn't is very popular for a variety of reasons. She was invited out today to join some of her friends at a concert for a group called Blood on the Dance Floor. I don't mind her going to a concert in a group setting but what I don't know is anything really about the group. My Internet is being very unstable currently and I am not having much luck looking at their videos online
Does anyone know who they are, and if you do what is your opinion on teenagers listening to their music? I need to give her an answer soon so she can get the tickets. So any help would be awesome.

From what google showed me they have a lot of cursing in their songs, use slut and whore a lot and just seem dirty to me. If it was my 13 year old I wouldn't let her go but that's just me

I wouldn't. I would wait until she's at least 15. I don't think the crowd would be the best for her to be going without a parent...

Oh that sucks, yeah the picture doesn't turn me off, kind of reminds me of Adam Lambert, but if that is their language I can't imagine she would even like them. She may just be desperate to go to something in a group. Oh for the days of New Kids on the Block. lol

Ok, I will take your word for it. I don't want her to feel like she has to like something because it's the in thing in this area. Maybe I can figure out something else for the group to do on another day before we move away.

I don't know I say it is more about being mature like if you think she is mature enough to go alone I mean it isn't that great of a band but I think it may kinda be good for her but idk lol sorry if I didn't help
