Taking care of my family is my job because it is what I do. Don't like it? That's on you. I don't care. I enjoy being able to stay at home with my children and watch them grow.

on 4/23/12 at 6:29pmIts really not. I'm just curious about why it is that what most moms (sahm & working) refer to as responsibilities other moms refer to as a job.
This IS meant to be the average, sahm bitching debate.

My "responsibilities" are a job as I actually get paid every thursday for the cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Thats right! I negotiated a rate of pay when we started discussing my staying at home. :) Call it whatever you want.. responsibilities , a job .. I call it my happy life :)

Either you're trying to stir up trouble or you're ignorant enough to really believe what you're saying. Either way you don't have anything to add to the debate.

on 4/23/12 at 6:32pm (7 likes)Ur not doing the at home thing 24/7. Ur kids are not there 24/7 which means They are not there to tear apart the house 24/7. They are not having lunch there which means no clean up. Do u get to go the bathroom by yourself at work? Do you get to eat an actual lunch? You probably get a break too! I do both since I work very part time outside of the home. Both are challenging in their own way.
