Ok, first off, I totally believe you are born with your sexuality! I do NOT really believe I'm turning him gay, it was just an attention getter! And I am posting anon because its also an attention getter! My CM name is soulawakening82!

My son will be 3 on Thursday. His Grammy asked him today what he wants for his birthday, and he said a purse. So, she is gonna get him one! I even told her about a super cute one my friend got her niece. To me, it is no different than my 3 year old daughter (if I had one) wanting a Tonka truck! There are a lot of girl things he likes, and I have explained to him that they are girl things without making him feel weird about it, and he still wants those things, which is fine by me! DH though, not so much, which I totally don't get because he also doesn't believe you choose to be gay! But he is not happy about the purse thing! Just wondering what others think about this...?

I say let him play with whatever he wants. Teaching him it's no big deal is teaching him to be comfortable with himself. Which is a good thing.

I don't think I would get it because I care too much about what people think. If my son desperately wanted it, I would consider it. Good for you though.

I personally wouldnt get ds a purse but ds plays baby with his little sister and i dont think its a big deal.

Since you know you can't turn someone gay, you answered your own question.
That being said, we have a rule in our house. "There are no boy toys or girl toys.. They're all MOM'S toys and she shares them with you."
Sometimes I don't share nice and hide my favorites *points to the spiderman bobble head*

No. The only way to really be sure they turn gay is to feed them skittles all the time. Proven fact!

My son likes to have tea parties w his girl cousin n play w guns n shit w his boy cousin. He's 5, I don't see a problem w it. There just kids they don't care, they playvw what's fun.

It wouldn't happen in my house. My husband upsets over ds bumpin his booty LOL. He is a wittle bit homophobic when it comes to his own sons
