My house is a mess....

i just spent the last half an hour trying to clean the bathroom. I say trying, because every other minute I had to go and fish the baby out of one thing, and check on my four year old doing another thing. Half an hour, and all I managed to get done was the bathtub and the toilet. Good lord....i dont know how other moms manage to keep up. I just feel like I'm bashing my head on a brick wall....trying to use a teaspoon to dig a car tunnel.

OK...back to it.

I hear ya! My older two, ages 6 and 4, are old enough to help with picking up and stuff, but my ds, who is 18 mos, is into everything! Of its not the toilet or the trash, he is going out the door that the girls left open to visit the ducks that live next door! Keep at it! It gets better !

Lol, it'll get easier the older they get and nicer since you'll have little helpers. When my kids were all really little I did most of my major cleaning during their nap times which was 1-3pm or after they were sent to bed at night which was around 8pm.
I did the dishes and cooking often while I had them engaged near me at the table either in the high chair or booster seat, or in some kind of swing, bouncer, or super saucer (depending on their age). They'd be playing, or doing some kind of art or craft or eating a snack.
When they were younger for me it made life a little easier to fit a cleaning schedule around their schedule.

Lexi is usually undoing something I just fixed. Or they're both following me around, trying to see what I'm doing.

Is the little one old enough for a damp rag and a dusting job?

She's 13 mos. i never even thought about it. I'll try next time and see what happens.
